Feb 25, · It's a great guitar for the money, especially used. The pickups and vol/tone controls aren't the greatest, but can be easily changed. Although out of your price range, any Heritage jazz box would be killer (and typically better then most Gibson's for a lot less).
Oct 14, · To me carved archtops (electric and acoustic) are the top of the guitar food chain. Sure, the market for electric solid and semi-hollow body guitars will always far exceed archtops, but for a jazz guitar player, nothing quite sounds or plays like a well built archtop.
