In he released a tribute to his late friend and mentor, Junior Delgado Sings Dennis Brown. Delgado died in his sleep on 10/11 April in South London, England. His spokesman said the death had been unexpected but was believed to have been from natural causes. He was survived by his widow Janet, and seven children.
Brown co-produced with Delgado the masterful Bushmaster Revolution album, and a number of its tracks were culled for this set: "Bush Master," "Rich Man," fabulous covers of "If This World Was Mine," "Speak Softly Love," and "Masquerade," as well as the breezy classic "Blue Monday" (aka "First on Sunday").
